Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using our website or engaging Flower City Mechanical ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company") for any HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting services. By using our website or requesting a quote or service from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. WHO CAN USE OUR SITE AND SERVICES

Our website and services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, and who have the authority to request work on the property in question (as an owner, tenant, or authorized representative).

2. QUOTES AND ESTIMATES

Any pricing, quote, or estimate provided through our website, by phone, or in person is an estimate only and is not a binding contract until confirmed in writing by both parties. Final pricing may vary based on the actual scope of work, site conditions discovered once work begins, permit requirements, or material costs at the time of service.

3. SCHEDULING AND SERVICE DELIVERY

We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled appointment times; however, service windows may shift due to prior job overruns, emergency calls, weather, parts availability, or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible of any significant delay.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Ontario law. We reserve the right to place a lien on a property in accordance with the Ontario Construction Act where payment for completed work is not received.

5. LICENSING AND CODE COMPLIANCE

Flower City Mechanical performs work in accordance with applicable municipal, TSSA, CSA, and other regulatory codes. Where permits or inspections are required for a project, responsibility for obtaining them will be agreed upon with the customer before work begins. Any alterations to a completed installation made by the customer or a third party may void applicable warranties.

6. WARRANTIES

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Specific warranty terms (including duration and coverage) for labour and installed parts or equipment will be provided in writing at the time of service or invoicing. Manufacturer warranties on equipment and parts are governed by the manufacturer's own terms, not by Flower City Mechanical.

We do not warranty pre-existing conditions, damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, acts of nature, or work performed by other contractors.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flower City Mechanical's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, loss of use, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Ontario law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. CANCELLATIONS

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled by contacting us as far in advance as possible. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for cancellations made with insufficient notice or for missed appointments where our technician has already been dispatched.

9. USE OF OUR WEBSITE

When using our website, you agree not to:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute content from our site without permission
